How to change image/slide backgrounds...
on Microsoft PowerPoint

When you generate a new slide on PowerPoint it generall defaults to plain white.
You can change this by doing the following:

Click on Design
Click on Format Background

To change the background, choose from either:
Solid Fill
     You can select any color
     You can adjust the transparency


2. Gradient Fill
      You can select from presets
      You can adjust the direction of the gradient
      You can adjust the angle of the gradient
      You can adjust the transparency
      You can adjust the brightness


3. Picture or Texture Fill
    You can insert a picture as your background, or

    You can select from presets
    You can adjust the transparency
    You can add a mirror type


4. Pattern Fill
    You can select from presets

    You can select a foreground color
    You can select a background color
